Your Tasks Are you passionate about logistics, supply chain optimization, and project start‑ups in the automotive industry? At FORVIA HELLA we are looking for a Logistics Engineer II who can lead and launch new logistics projects with an end‑to‑end supply chain mindset and a strong focus on project phases. Role Objective — To design, implement, and launch complex logistics concepts across the complete supply chain, from suppliers to customers, ensuring efficient material and information flows, optimized total cost, and robust logistics solutions, including supplier packaging development. Key Responsibilities Logistics & Supply Chain Processes: Design, optimize, and implement complex logistics processes along the entire supply chain. Lead the logistics scope during project phases, from concept development to SOP. Develop and improve material and information flow concepts aligned with corporate standards and lean principles. Drive continuous improvement initiatives in logistics and supply chain processes. Align logistics improvements with operational and process owners. Analyze and maintain logistics master data and establish control loops for data accuracy. Packaging & Supplier Interface: Develop, validate, and standardize packaging solutions for suppliers. Coordinate and negotiate logistics conditions with suppliers and customers. Ensure packaging and logistics concepts support quality, efficiency, and sustainability. IT Systems & Tools: Define target logistics processes integrating material flow with ERP/WMS systems. Optimize logistics parameters such as lead times, inventory levels, planning rules, and replenishment strategies. Prepare logistics process documentation focused on end users and management; support the definition and tracking of logistics KPIs. Project Management: Act as project lead for complex logistics projects from a technical and organizational perspective. Define, plan, coordinate, and monitor project tasks within cross‑functional teams. Ensure project targets are met in terms of time, cost, and quality. Support, coach, and train project team members and operational staff. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, logistics, supply chain, or a related field. Experience: 2–3 years of logistics engineering, supply chain, or logistics project management experience (preferably in the automotive industry). Language: Intermediate to Advanced English. Strong knowledge of end‑to‑end supply chain processes. Experience in logistics project start‑ups and process design. Knowledge of ERP and/or WMS systems.
