The ideal individual willbe a good communicator and a team player with a good foundation in cost and estimating. Responsibilities: Developing cost plans and estimates fromconceptthrough detailed design. Supporting Clientland acquisitions. Delivering and presenting updated cost plans atappropriate designmilestones. Reviewing proposed design changes/new technologiesandpreparingestimates withinappropriate accuracylevels. Understanding design stages and estimate levels. Providing commercial input to design optioneering and input into value engineering exercises. Preparing cash commit forecasts for the construction life cycle. Working collaboratively with stakeholders in the preparation of estimates/ cost plans. Analyzing labor markets and cost drivers such asunions &tax. Supporting ourclientswith monthly presentations. Benchmarking integration to ensureaccuratedata capture. SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable. Qualifications Advanced level of Englishrequired, as the candidate will be working with international Clients. Bachelor’s degree inelectrical engineering, cost management, quantity surveying,engineeringor field related to construction. Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience. Experience working ina constructioncost management role such as Estimating, Cost Engineer, Project Engineer, Project Cost Controls etc. Thrives in a client facing role. Experience supporting program level cost management for medium orlarge-scaleconstruction projects.
