Commodity Management In perfect partnership with the various Global Regional Buyer Americas, he will develop and implement the Purchasing strategies for the American region consistent with Corporate Purchasing Strategy .She/he will manage the regional panel of suppliers continuously driving up their financial and industrial performance. He will consequently monitor and report monthly the results and forecast for her/his perimeter. He will drive the recovery plan when neede d.She/he will be responsible for the contract management of her/his suppliers making sure that all clauses are well executed and that contractual hazards have been addressed early enough to secure the compa ny.Business Acquisi tionIn line with the Program Managers, he will support the costing on customers RFIs/RFQS. To this regard he will take the full responsibility of costing the bill of material for new businesses which costing is managed from th e US.Concerning Programs on which the costing is led from Europe, he will cost solely the items intended to be sourced from North American suppliers and report the outcome to the European costing b uyer.In both situations he will focus the costing on the following 3 essentials: Reliability, Speed, and Competitive ness.New Programs So urcingRegarding new Programs developed by the North America team, he will be in charge to source the bill of material all over the development cycle, he will drive the supplier’s readiness on each of the development phasesRegarding new Programs developed by the Central team, he will work for the Program Buyer in charge and source all items purchased from American sup pliers.Will be accountable for the purchasing performance, and he will thus report it to the Program M anager.Oversee contracting the Particular conditions related to the Program.
