Ensure the supply and purchase of materials, components, and services required for production. Manage quotes with suppliers and place purchase orders. Monitor inventory levels and ensure an adequate stock of materials to support production programs. Determine the appropriate purchasing strategy for each material, ensuring continuous supply, as well as the optimal inventory level, avoiding excesses and/or lack of materials. Evaluate supplier performance through quality, cost, and delivery metrics. Implement cost savings initiatives and optimization strategies with suppliers Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, contracts, and supplier information. Resolve any issue or discrepancy related to the supply and purchasing process. Possess advanced knowledge of supply chain activities, including the transformation of natural resources, materials, and/or components into a finished product that is delivered to the end customer to satisfy their needs. Strong ability to negotiate and secure favorable pricing terms with suppliers. Excellent level of communication to interact with internal and external teams. Analytical approach to evaluate supplier performance and identify cost savings opportunities. Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in purchase orders, contracts, and inventory records .
