Responsibilities Coach 10–20 classes a week, dependent on availability Attend monthly coaching meetings and training sessions Ability to follow and execute a predesigned curriculum, adapting to children’s needs Encourage character development through positive reinforcement and early childhood education techniques Uphold and follow all safety standards while children are in care Communicate with families, caregivers, partners, and teachers Requirements Ability to run, play, and joyfully engage with children Lift and transport sports equipment (approx. 40 pounds) Valid driver’s license with clean record and car, willing to drive to classes all over San Diego Available at least two days, Wednesday and Thursday preferred and Saturday required 1‑year commitment Proof of a TB test within the past 2 years from the date of hire or proof of a negative TB test within 2 weeks after date of hire Ability to provide a cleared fingerprint background check Pay And Benefits $18–22.50 /hr for head coaching shifts, dependent on prior experience and education Mileage reimbursement at the federal IRS mileage rate Monthly cell‑phone reimbursement Free Nike uniform 401(k) matching after 90 days of employment Tuition reimbursement for early childhood education units All major holidays off Quarterly performance bonus Company outings and trainings Opportunities for bonuses, additional benefits, and pay raises with completion of early childhood education units.
