Department & Location Materials/Inventory – Location: Mexico – Linares Overview Responsible for the purchase and supplies of direct materials for the production area, ensuring continuity according to the production program. Key Responsibilities MRP analysis Enter purchase orders based on current demand and lead times, confirm deliveries on time and track shipments for import. Keep purchase orders updated. Expedite and defer material based on current demand. Provide feedback about shortage material in reports (showstopper report and materials binnacle). Follow up and ensure delivery of shortage material in the production line. Review material in consignment and with Kanban level. Review obsolete and slow‑moving inventory for disposal. Review discrepancies with material and prices (buyer exception report). Follow up on quality recalls, create debit memos and confirm disposal with supplier. Follow up material for first article inspection (FAI). Obtain quality certificates for applicable products. Provide complete information and documentation for the import of raw materials. Coordinate shipments of raw materials and/or packaging materials from Franklin. Maintain and meet quality objectives and support the company's strategic goals. Comply with quality system guidelines and conduct work to required standards. Maintain company tools and equipment safe, clean, and operational. Participate in continuous improvement projects. Follow up on corrective actions of the Quality System. Comply with relevant roles assigned by management (e.g., Brigades, Auditors). Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Age over 22 years old. Gender indistinct. Bachelor's degree. Minimum 1-year experience in Purchasing area. Effective communication and responsiveness in person‑to‑person interactions. Confidentiality and discretion with business information. Capacity to handle moderately repetitive tasks. Ability to work under pressure. Advanced written and oral communication skills in English.
