Marketing Developer *This position is only available to candidates located in Costa Rica, México, Honduras, or Guatemala. We are seeking an experienced Marketing Developer with 6+ years of hands‑on experience designing, developing, and optimizing marketing automation workflows within Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) and Klaviyo . The ideal candidate combines strong technical capability in email and journey automation with a deep understanding of customer segmentation, personalization, and data‑driven marketing execution. Key Responsibilities Design, build, and deploy email, SMS, and multi‑channel marketing campaigns in SFMC and Klaviyo. Develop and optimize automation journeys (Journey Builder, Automation Studio) and triggered campaigns across both platforms. Create dynamic and personalized content using AMPscript, SSJS, Liquid, and data extensions. Manage data integration between CRM, eCommerce, and marketing platforms (via APIs, SFTP, or middleware). Implement A/B testing, audience segmentation, and campaign performance tracking. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (CRM, Product, Analytics, Creative) to define and execute campaign strategies. Maintain and enhance marketing data models to improve personalization and targeting accuracy. Ensure CAN‑SPAM/GDPR compliance and email deliverability best practices. Troubleshoot campaign issues, perform QA testing, and optimize automation workflows. Stay current on marketing automation trends, SFMC updates, and Klaviyo features. Required Skills 6+ years of hands‑on development experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and/or Klaviyo. Proficiency in AMPscript, SSJS, SQL, and HTML/CSS for email templates. Experience with Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, and Cloud Pages. Deep understanding of Klaviyo flows, segments, event triggers, and Liquid templating. Proven experience integrating marketing tools with CRMs, eCommerce (e.g., Shopify, Magento), and data platforms via APIs. Familiarity with data extensions, subscriber management, and contact model design. Strong analytical and debugging skills using logs, tracking codes, and reports. SFMC or Klaviyo certifications are a plus (e.g., SFMC Developer, Email Specialist, Klaviyo Developer Certification). Nice to Have Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud , Customer Journeys , or Audience Builder . Familiarity with marketing analytics tools (Google Analytics, Tableau, Power BI). Exposure to Python or Node.js for custom automation scripts. Knowledge of Agile methodologies and collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence).
