ERP Engineer Responsibilities Project-level application development, design, and integration of the Workday platform. Plan, design, develop, and test applications and integrations, ensuring they are functional, performant, and troubleshoot issues. Develop user manuals, cut‑over plans, operations guides, and other documentation to support implementation and adoption. Create software for computer operating systems and mobile applications. Provide technical advice and leadership to project teams by reviewing design and code. Coordinate with other engineers or professionals to develop cross‑platform software applications across various industries. Contribute to and direct the efforts of development teams, both internal and external. Contribute to the ongoing evolution of existing applications. Design, develop, modify, implement, and support software components throughout the software stack. Determine root causes of complex software issues and develop practical, efficient, and permanent technical solutions. Stay current on new technologies and vendor packages, evaluating and making recommendations as needed. Assist in task planning, estimation, scheduling, and staffing. Mentor junior software engineers through advice, coaching, and training opportunities. Determine process improvements, best practices, and develop new processes. Work in close partnership with cross‑functional teams and management. Collaborate with HR leadership and cross‑functional teams to translate business needs into HRIS strategies and solutions. Lead system upgrades, enhancements, and new module implementations, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. Analyze incidents, technical issues, or end‑user training needs within Workday Studio and take appropriate follow‑up actions. Maintain Knowledge Base articles, product enhancements, test scenarios, patching information, and integration methodologies to provide robust reference materials. Qualifications 5+ years of strong technical understanding and experience with Workday modules, including HCM, Payroll, Absence, Talent, Performance Management, Advanced Reporting, Compensation, Security, Integrations, and Studio.
