Responsibilities Build, integrate and maintain machine learning models in a development environment High level of business understanding to tackle any problem with the best possible approach Create simple but very informative visualizations to explain your work for a broad audience Identify data requirements and needs along with the data engineering team Be able to collaborate with teams remotely, not only locally Conduct data analysis to support business decisions. Collaborate with data engineers to ensure data availability. Collaborate with our data engineering team to implement solutions to meet the company’s goals Document your work to have a solid foundation of it for new team members or future references Requirements 1+ years of experience as a Data Scientist Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Git. Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., Scikit-learn, TensorFlow). Experience with object-oriented programming (OOP). Familiarity with AWS and Databricks. Understanding of data science best practices. Ability to say 'I don't know' and willingness to research and find solutions. Good English level. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Corporate Bill Pay and Spend Management: Familiarity with corporate bill pay, credit card, and spend management products. Data Visualization Tools: Experience with data visualization tools such as Metabase, QuickSight, and Databricks. Programming Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, and/or R for data analysis and modeling. A/B Testing and Experimentation: Experience designing and analyzing A/B tests to drive product decisions. Regulatory Compliance: Understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the financial sector, especially those relevant to Latin America.
