Responsibilities Prepare samples for testing, including cutting samples on band saw and other various hand tools. Set up tests, including test fixtures, controls, and data acquisition. Create test procedures and work instructions. Perform various tests using in‑house facilities. Coordinate testing with external test labs as needed. Manage multiple tests concurrently. Interface with plant quality and engineering team members. Document test results using Microsoft Office applications and the TIR system. Adhere to all Inteva safety requirements. Coordinate the shipment of equipment for external calibration and review calibration reports. Coordinate and supervise calibration service providers during their activities within the laboratory. Maintain an up‑to‑date calibration database. Coordinate and supervise contractor services for the maintenance of laboratory equipment. Communicate testing status to the laboratory manager. Attend and participate in courses, group sessions, and other training activities. Ensure compliance with the plans and activities of all applicable quality systems (e.g., IATF16949, ISO/IEC17025). Qualifications Advanced English proficiency. 1–3 years of testing experience. Background in automotive interiors testing. Experience with tensile machines. Experience with shop tools including band saw. Experience with environmental chambers. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook), with a strong focus on Excel.
