Job Overview Conduent, a leading provider of mission‑critical services and solutions to Fortune 100 companies and over 500 governments, is looking for an experienced Accounting Services Analyst. The role focuses on managing financial transaction processing, providing leadership for projects, and delivering accurate reporting. Responsibilities Manage and provide leadership for the delivery of basic to moderate projects, programs and/or prioritizing activities in alignment with client expectations and business needs. Participate in or lead cross‑functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing projects. Plan and direct schedules/monitor daily volumes, ensuring turnaround times within expected SLAs. Organize interdepartmental activities, ensuring completion on schedule. Communicate scope, goals and responsibilities to the team and establish clear stakeholder expectations. Develop and maintain reporting procedures and prepare/distribute reports related to project activities, general project management, and financial issues. Participate in communications with the client and other departments as required. Bear ownership and accountability for single or multiple review deliverables at a time. Provide day‑to‑day leadership to team members, including proactive guidance, troubleshooting support, issue escalation and support. Track and report business‑critical project and people metrics for client operations. Finalize the intercompany reconciliation process and liaise with Accounts Payable and the business. Prepare monthly and quarterly balance justifications and documentation. Prepare customized reports and dashboards, and keep updated data readily available for presentations or reporting. Assist team leaders/managers in preparing metrics and in audits by providing supporting records and documentation. Ensure adequate and updated process documentation and desktop procedures exist and are used. Ensure adherence to internal and external guidelines as well as a standardized process landscape. Generate invoices after immediate requests during the whole shift and monitor & review progress, alerting management immediately if any red flags are observed. Support procurement operations, conduct thorough analysis and evaluation of contracts to verify pricing and associated information, and act as liaison between internal customers and the auditing department. Respond to customer needs, exceeding service level expectations, and generate savings. Extended shift and weekend availability during month‑end closing. Qualifications College or university degree required. At least 1 year of finance operations experience (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Audit, Accounting, Vendor Master). Advanced Portuguese or equivalent language proficiency. English proficiency (bilingual); English mandatory in some responsibilities. Intermediate Excel skills; strong Excel proficiency highly desired. Deep ERP knowledge (SAP) or experience with other ERP systems. Deep understanding of banking reconciliation and customer account level reconciliation. High sense of urgency, logical thinking, proactiveness, client‑centered, quality focused. Capable of working under pressure, fast‑paced environment, and meeting strict deadlines. Experience in automotive industry finance and accounting is highly desired. Ability to work extended shifts and weekends, including night shifts if required. Ability to work independently with a moderate level of guidance and direction.
