ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for an Accountant with strong experience in US GAAP and journal entry preparation. In this role, you will help maintain accurate financial records, support our close processes, and ensure proper classification and reporting of transactions. This is a hands‑on accounting role ideal for someone who understands how transactions flow through the financial statements and enjoys keeping things organized, accurate, and compliant. RESPONSIBILITIES Prepare accurate, well-supported journal entries and ensure proper classification Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and account balances Assist with month‑end and year‑end close activities Prepare and review financial information to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP Reconcile accounts, investigate discrepancies, and ensure accurate reporting Provide clear, actionable financial insights when needed Support the Finance team with ad‑hoc analysis and process improvements WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 2+ years of accounting/finance experience Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP Excellent knowledge of debits, credits, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement impact Experience working with U.S. company accounting Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy Proactive, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment WHAT WE OFFER Monthly Salary of $30,000 gross (bruto) Christmas Bonus of 30 days (aguinaldo) Saving Fund 10% (5% employee, and 5% company) Monthly food vouchers Life Insurance Medical Insurance (SGMM) Seniority level : Entry level Employment type : Full-time Job function : Accounting/Auditing and Finance Industries : Human Resources Services Location : Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico #J-18808-Ljbffr
