Materials Buyer JohnN Controls is looking for a Materials Buyer. Responsibilities Material Planning: Develop and implement material plans to ensure timely availability of materials for production, minimizing downtime. Collaboration: Engage with cross‑functional teams including purchasing, production, and engineering to coordinate new product releases and address customer requirements. Schedule Management: Prepare and manage the demand production schedule, ensuring alignment with production capabilities and customer expectations. Supervision: Oversee materials coordinators and/or analysts, providing guidance and support to optimize material management processes. Qualifications A University degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in materials planning or purchasing. Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams. Proficiency in relevant software for materials management and scheduling.
