Monterrey, Mexico Strategic Sourcing Specialist Location: Monterrey area, Nuevo LeónTravel: 0–10%, mostly within Monterrey You will research, identify, and document potential manufacturing partners (CNC machining, Sheet metal, Injection molding, die casting, forging, etc.) to help Fictiv’s sourcing team make data‑driven decisions. Your work will directly contribute to expanding our supplier pool, improving cost efficiency, and ensuring a reliable supply chain for our customers. Supplier Research & Market IntelligenceConduct market research to identify potential suppliers through online searches (Google, Alibaba), industry exhibitions, customs data, and trade directories.Compile and maintain a structured supplier database with key details (capabilities, certifications, location, etc.).Stay updated on industry trends and emerging suppliers in CNC, Sheet metal, Injection Molding, die casting, forging, and other manufacturing processes. Supplier Pre‑Qualification SupportCollect and document basic supplier information (production capacity, equipment, certifications).Assist in preparing potential supplier lists for further evaluation by the sourcing team.Support the team in organizing supplier outreach and initial communications. Data Management & ReportingMaintain accurate records of supplier research findings in Fictiv’s internal systems.Prepare supplier or industry research reports for team review.Help track supplier performance metrics (lead time, responsiveness, etc.). Cross‑Team CollaborationWork closely with Sourcing to prioritize research needs.Attend industry exhibitions (as needed) to gather supplier insights and market trends.Provide administrative support in supplier onboarding (NDA/MSA coordination, etc.). Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field – degree is required. 3 – 6 years of experience in a manufacturing supply chain/supplier development environment. Self‑Motivated Learner – Eager to develop expertise in sourcing and manufacturing. Detail‑Oriented – Strong organizational skills to manage supplier data accurately. Research‑Driven – Comfortable digging into market data to find the best suppliers. Collaborative Mindset – Works well with the sourcing team to support strategic goals. Basic Technical Curiosity – Willingness to learn about CNC, die casting, and other processes. One area 1–2 in manufacturing.
