Job Description The OTR Manager II role is a strategic position to lead our last mile operations on route. As an OTR Manager II, you will be a key strategic driver in delivering results. This position requires a strong attention to operational metrics and the ability to coordinate and guide teams through ambiguity. During Peak Events (High Season) this role is required to work on weekends, holidays, and night shifts to ensure the execution of plans. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, leadership experience, excellent communication abilities at all levels, and the capacity to drive operational excellence through team coordination and data‑driven decisions while maintaining an empathetic approach. Experience with continuous improvement methodologies and a proven track record of implementing successful process improvements is essential. Support all safety programs to ensure a safe work environment for all delivery service providers. Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives and implement Lean methodologies. Analyze operational metrics and develop strategies to improve performance based on data and tendencies. Mentor and develop junior managers, fostering their growth and enhancing team capabilities. Build and maintain strong relationships with team members through effective communication and empathetic leadership. Lead change at internet speed, adapting quickly to innovation as our global company grows. About the Team You will be part of the Amazon Logistics Team, responsible for the day‑to‑day on‑road management.
