Job Description We're looking for a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Analyst to join our finance team in San Luis Potosí City, Mexico. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the full accounts payable cycle, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and Mexican accounting regulations. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Process, verify, and reconcile accounts payable invoices and supporting documentation with accuracy and efficiency. Maintain organized records of all vendor transactions and ensure proper filing and documentation. Analyze vendor accounts, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues timely. Communicate professionally with vendors and internal stakeholders to address payment inquiries and resolve disputes. Prepare detailed accounts payable reports and analysis for management review. Support month-end and year-end closing processes by reconciling accounts and preparing necessary documentation. Input and manage vendor data in accounting software and ERP systems with precision. Ensure all accounts payable activities comply with company policies, procedures, and applicable Mexican accounting regulations. Assist with special projects and ad-hoc analysis as requested by the finance department. Qualifications Proven experience in accounts payable processing and invoice reconciliation. Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems (SAP experience is a plus). Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all work. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Spanish fluency is preferred. Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and analytical mindset. Familiarity with Mexican accounting practices and tax compliance requirements is preferred. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor when interacting with vendors and colleagues. Additional Information Bachelor´s degree in accounting or administration or related. Good written and oral communication skills. At least three years of experience in Accounts payable. Intermediate or Advanced level of English. Excellent customer service skills. Functional knowledge of the AP accounting processes. Understanding of internal control elements. Ability to meet strict deadlines. Windows Office intermediate.
