Position Overview This is a full‑time position based in our Mexico City office with a hybrid model, requiring you to be in the office 3 times per week. What you’ll do: Commercial Partnerships & MSI Own Klar’s Meses Sin Intereses (MSI) partnership strategy: identify, negotiate, and close agreements with top‑tier retailers across fashion, travel, electronics, home, and dining. Model surcharge economics, participation share, and billing projections to ensure every MSI deal is commercially sound. Navigate the full MSI transaction ecosystem: emisores, adquirentes, procesadores, cámaras de compensación with fluency and credibility. Build and maintain a robust commercial pipeline, tracking competitor activity and opportunity sizing. Benefits Architecture & Cardholder Value Design and evolve Klar’s benefits portfolio to compete with the top premium credit cards in Mexico. Translate partnership deals into tangible, well‑communicated cardholder benefits: discounts, early access, exclusive experiences, lounge passes, and more. Partner with Product and Marketing to ensure benefits are discoverable, activated, and celebrated across all channels. Strategy, Operations & Reporting Build and own the partnerships roadmap: quarterly priorities, deal pipeline, KPIs, and post‑close performance reviews. Define success metrics beyond revenue from brand attribution, cardholder NPS uplift, activation rates, and media value equivalency. Work cross‑functionally with Legal, Finance, Product, and Marketing to move deals from LOI to live. Represent Klar in high‑stakes external negotiations with confidence, creativity, and commercial discipline. Premium Lifestyle & Entertainment Partnerships Secure category‑defining partnerships in sport, entertainment, hospitality, and culture that position Klar as a premium brand. Identify and close Tier 0 deals across verticals including. Develop a structured benefits tiering framework (Tier 1 / Tier 2 / Tier 3) that maps partnerships to cardholder segments and drives upgrade behavior. Brand Partnership Program Build Klar’s partnership program from scratch: define the strategy, identify targets, manage outreach, and close agreements. Identify and sign high‑profile Mexican and LATAM brands across entertainment, sport, and culture targeting national relevance and aspirational audience profiles. Manage relationships, content obligations, exclusivity terms, and brand alignment with the same rigor as any commercial deal. Coordinate with Marketing and Creative to bring brand campaigns to life across paid, owned, and earned media. Bonus Qualifications Secure category‑defining partnerships in sport, entertainment, hospitality, and culture that position Klar as a premium brand. Identify and close Tier 0 deals across verticals including. Develop a structured benefits tiering framework (Tier 1 / Tier 2 / Tier 3) that maps partnerships to cardholder segments and drives upgrade behavior. What we are looking for: +6 years of experience in brand partnerships, business development, sponsorships, or commercial strategy ideally across fintech, financial services, premium consumer brands, or media/entertainment. Proven track record of independently sourcing, negotiating, and closing complex, multi‑stakeholder partnerships from first conversation to signed agreement. Deep understanding of MSI deal mechanics: surcharge structures, participation share, profitability modeling, and the full ecosystem of emisores, adquirentes, procesadores, and cámaras de compensación. Strong commercial acumen you can build a business case, read a P&L, and defend a deal to a CFO. A genuine passion for brand building: you understand how the right partnership changes how people perceive a product. Exceptional negotiation and relationship‑building skills. You close, but you close with relationships intact. Self‑directed and entrepreneurial. You identify the opportunity, build the case, and make it happen without waiting to be told. Fluent in Spanish and English (written and spoken). You can pitch to a Liga MX exec and a Silicon Valley investor in the same week. Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities. Strong plus: Experience working with or inside a premium credit card, neobank, or financial services brand. Existing network in Mexican sport, entertainment, hospitality, luxury retail, or media. Experience building and managing partnership or talent programs at a brand level (not agency). Knowledge of sponsorship valuation, rights negotiation, and media equivalency modeling. Background in consumer marketing or brand strategy you’ve sat on the brand side and know what a great partnership brief looks like. Experience in Meses Sin Intereses (MSI) partnership development, including surcharge negotiations, profitability modeling, participation share, and billing projections. Knowledge of the full MSI transaction cycle (emisores, adquirentes, procesadores y cámaras de compensación).
