The Role Responsible for managing preventive and corrective maintenance functions to minimize downtime caused by failures in production equipment, peripherals, and facilities, facilitate compliance with production objectives, and preserve the value of the company’s assets. Responsibilities General administration of maintenance systems. Implementation of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance). Reduction of maintenance expenses. Implementation of systems and supplier development. Follow‑up on SICAS procedures applicable to the maintenance area. Definition and reporting of obsolete items (warehouse). Expense control versus budget. Approval of purchases (equipment, services, improvements). Administration of peripherals (stock houses, chillers, compressors, electrical substation). Follow‑up on projects for new lines, equipment, and/or processes. Follow‑up on action plans defined by areas (supervisors). Evaluation of suppliers and services. Coordination of TPM projects and activities. Coordination of early equipment management. Evaluation of OEE, MTBF, and MTTR. Address CMS requirements (kaizen, LPZ, 5S, game plan, gemba coach, etc.). Ensure compliance with Safety and Health Management System procedures. Ensure compliance with the Quality System. Understand ISO 14001 requirements, act in case of environmental emergencies, and stop activities that could impact the environment. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronics, and/or Electronic Engineering. 5+ years of experience as Maintenance Manager. 3–5 years of experience in Big Data, Cloud, integration, and Python. Experience in scheduling, maintenance, failure analysis, loss control, budgeting, spare parts inventory, CAPS (8D), TPM, CMS, ISO 5501, CMRP. Bilingual (Spanish/English). Experience working with Production, Purchasing, Environmental, Safety, Quality, Projects, Process Engineering, OEX, Industrial Engineering, plants, contractors, and suppliers. Experience implementing maintenance systems and reducing downtime, as well as contractor management and spare parts purchasing.
