Responsibilities Deliver design engineering solutions that promote safety, ergonomics, quality and productivity, following Design Manuals and best engineering practices for aircraft components. Apply strong understanding of materials and their properties to ensure compliance with safety, performance, and reliability standards. Support operations and manufacturing processes, ensuring alignment with established engineering specifications and standards. Lead and participate in Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) activities to identify, analyze, and resolve internal and external quality issues. Propose and implement corrective and preventive actions to enhance product quality and process efficiency. Demonstrate creativity and innovation in developing optimized designs that improve performance, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure timely delivery of design outputs and successful product implementation. Qualifications – Required Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Aerospace Engineering. Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in product design and development. Advanced English proficiency (spoken and written – 90%). Knowledge of GD&T for precise dimensioning and tolerance of design components. Proven experience in creating 3D structural models using CATIA V5. Proficiency in PLM systems such as Enovia, Teamcenter, or similar tools. Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). Qualifications – Preferred Composites knowledge. RTX adheres to the principles of equal employment.
