Role Overview This role plays a critical part in supporting our international licensing operations, with a primary focus on partner activity across Latin America and oversight in the APAC region. The Manager will be responsible for ensuring smooth and consistent support of content licensing deals and driving the successful onboarding of new clients and partners. Working closely with cross‑functional teams, including Sales, Legal, Global Content Operations teams, and regional stakeholders, the Manager will help develop delivery plans, monitor execution, proactively identify risks and dependencies, and report progress to relevant stakeholders. This role ensures that day‑to‑day operations stay on track while keeping broader team goals in sight. While the leadership team leads strategic project planning and team development, this Manager level role focuses on hands‑on execution, partner communication, and operational alignment. It is a key contributor to our ability to manage volume, meet delivery timelines, and provide excellent service to our partners in high‑growth regions. Responsibilities Studio Partner Relations & Partner Support Support the planning and execution of deliverables for international licensees, VOD operations, and ingest partner deals in the LatAm and APAC regions. Establish timelines, tasks, and priorities to ensure content launches and partner deliveries are met with accuracy and efficiency. Project Coordination & Execution Work under the guidance of the Sr. Manager to manage day‑to‑day workflows, project milestones, and key partner initiatives. Track progress, flag risks, and ensure operational follow‑through across global licensing activities. Operational Process Support Assist in reviewing and optimizing content distribution workflows to support consistency, accuracy, and partner satisfaction. Ensure internal systems are updated and relevant policies and standards are followed during execution. Cross‑Functional Collaboration Partner closely with Sales, Legal, Global Content Operations, and Regional Teams to align on partner needs and delivery expectations. Act as a point of contact for operational updates, issue resolution, and day‑to‑day coordination across departments. Partner Onboarding and Relationship Management Oversee and manage the onboarding of new partners by documenting requirements, coordinating intake processes, and aligning internal teams. Maintain regular communication with partners, addressing questions, tracking milestones, and escalating issues as needed. Reporting and Data Tracking Contribute to monthly reporting by tracking key data points and delivery metrics. Provide timely updates on operational status, including risks and dependencies, to support broader team reporting. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Media Studies, Communications, or a related field. A minimum of 7 years of experience in content operations, media distribution, or a related field within the entertainment or media industry. Proven managerial experience with at least 3 years in a role overseeing teams, projects, and/or operations. Proven expertise in managing high‑volume content distribution in fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environments. Comprehensive knowledge of content management systems (CMS), digital asset management (DAM) systems, and media distribution technologies. Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, with hands‑on experience using platforms such as Smartsheets, Jira, or similar tools. Familiarity with metadata standards and best practices for efficient and accurate content distribution. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and collaborate across cross‑functional teams, including senior sales personnel, legal, and product engineers. Exceptional strategic planning and project management skills, with a proven ability to develop and execute detailed plans that align with business objectives. Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to interpret complex data and leverage insights to inform strategic decisions and operational improvements. Experience preparing and presenting precise, insightful monthly reports for stakeholders, with meticulous attention to detail. Adaptability and a solution‑oriented mindset to address challenges in a dynamic and evolving environment. Ability to speak and write Brazilian Portuguese is a strong plus.
