Job Summary The Spec Sales Regional Manager leads specification driven sales efforts across the Mexican territory. The role focuses on influencing product adoption at the design and planning stages, building strong relationships with engineers, consultants, and other specifiers, and driving revenue through project pipelines in the industrial, outdoor and commercial product portfolios. This position blends technical sales, territory management, and strategic business development. Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions) Specification & Project Influence Drive product inclusion in engineering, and consultant specifications. Conduct technical presentations, lunch and learns, and product demonstrations. Track and manage Agents and representatives project pipelines from design through installation to ensure conversion. Regional Sales Strategy Develop and execute a regional sales plan aligned with company revenue goals by product family. Forecast sales, analyze trends, and adjust strategy based on market conditions. Identify and pursue new business opportunities across relevant verticals. Territory & Channel Management Build and manage relationships with distributors, dealers, and channel partners. Develop new sales channels, relationships and partnerships. Train partners and agent champions on product features, competitive advantages, and sales techniques. Conduct joint sales calls, site visits, and performance reviews. Travel within the Mexican territory. Generate and manage new Key Accounts Maintain strong relationships with major accounts to ensure satisfaction and retention. Meet regularly with customers to understand needs and strengthen partnerships. Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis Monitor regional market trends, competitor activity, and pricing indicators. Provide feedback to product and marketing teams for product and price improvements. Industry Engagement Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and professional associations. Support regional marketing initiatives and brand visibility efforts. Skills and Minimum Experience Required 3 years of proven experience in specification sales, technical sales, or regional/territory management. Strong communication and presentation skills for specifier engagement. Ability to analyze sales data, forecast performance, and build strategic plans. Strong organizational and problem solving skills to manage a large territory. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or related field (preferred). Minimum3 years of experience in the electrical business where specification sales is critical. Technical aptitude to understand product performance and application requirements.
