About The Role AvSight is the leading aviation ERP platform built natively on Salesforce, trusted by MROs, distributors, and operators worldwide. AvSight Intelligence is our next-generation AI offering — an extension package that brings intelligent automation, predictive insights, and AI-driven workflows directly into the AvSight ecosystem. We are looking for a hands-on Technical Lead to own the architecture and Salesforce development of AvSight Intelligence from the ground up. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role that sits at the intersection of Salesforce engineering and AI product development. You will define how AI capabilities are surfaced within the platform, set the technical direction for the extension package, and ensure we ship with quality and consistency. Key Responsibilities: Architecture & Development Architect and oversee the primary design of the AvSight Intelligence extension within the Salesforce environment. Develop high-performance Apex solutions that leverage asynchronous processing and robust logic while maintaining strict adherence to platform governor limits. Establish and maintain rigorous standards for code quality, architectural patterns, and technical documentation across the Intelligence suite. Partner with the Core Technical Lead to harmonize integration strategies and ensure structural alignment across all package dependencies. AI & Integration Development Collaborate with AI engineers to transform complex machine learning pipelines into seamless, functional components within the Salesforce user experience. Engineer sophisticated integration frameworks that connect our intelligence layer with external data streams and RESTful API services. Maintain the integrity and security of data transmissions between our core platform and supporting AI infrastructure. Release Engineering Manage the end-to-end release cycle for the Intelligence package, overseeing version control and automated deployment workflows. Direct the progression of updates through quality assurance, staging environments, and final production delivery. Synchronize our deployment roadmap with the broader AvSight release cadence to ensure platform stability. Team Leadership & Collaboration Guide distributed engineering teams by providing technical mentorship, performing code reviews, and setting clear development objectives. Collaborate with Product, QA, and Success teams to guarantee that new capabilities align with the strategic needs of our customers. Drive technical estimation and contribute to the refinement of the product backlog within the intelligence workstream. Required Qualifications: Essential Expertise: Minimum of three years in Salesforce engineering, with a primary focus on sophisticated Apex backend logic. Proven track record of architecting and implementing robust integration patterns, including REST, SOAP, and Platform Events. Advanced mastery of platform execution limits and scalable asynchronous architectures, such as Queueable and Batch processes. Proficiency with modern DevOps toolchains, including Salesforce DX, Git-based version control, and automated CI/CD workflows. Demonstrated capability to spearhead technical initiatives and provide strategic guidance to engineering colleagues. Exceptional communication abilities, with the skill to convey complex architectural choices to both technical and executive audiences. Desirable Skills: Direct involvement in the lifecycle of Salesforce managed packages, specifically within 1GP or 2GP frameworks. Working knowledge of AppExchange ecosystem standards and the rigor of the official security review process. Exposure to large language model APIs and the orchestration of data pipelines for intelligence layers. Hands-on experience utilizing Lightning Web Components to create dynamic, AI-enabled user interfaces. Professional certifications, such as Platform Developer II or Application Architect, are highly regarded. Experience collaborating across global time zones with distributed development organizations.
