Position Overview The Maintenance Supervisor leads frontline mechanical maintenance activities, ensuring maximum equipment availability through effective execution of preventive, corrective, and improvement actions. This role supervises technicians, responds to equipment breakdowns, and maintains safety and 5S standards across the maintenance workshop and site infrastructure. Primary Responsibilities Team Leadership Supervise, mentor, and coordinate Maintenance Technicians Ensure safe work practices and high-quality execution Corrective & Preventive Maintenance Lead troubleshooting and resolution of equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime Oversee execution of Preventive Maintenance work orders to ensure compliance with technical standards Continuous Improvement Identify and implement small-scale engineering improvements to enhance equipment reliability and safety Technical Support Serve as escalation point for complex mechanical issues Provide hands‑on technical guidance to maintenance team Contractor & Shop Management Provide technical oversight of mechanical contractors Maintain organization, cleanliness, and 5S standards in workshop and utility areas Safety & Compliance Ensure adherence to LOTO, work permits, and EHS policies Promote safe execution of all maintenance activities Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related Engineering field 3+ years of experience in supervisory industrial maintenance Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical power transmission (gearboxes, pumps, motors) Proven experience with LOTO and high-risk work permits Strong leadership, urgency, problem-solving, and communication skills Intermediate English (technical reading and participation in meetings) Preferred Requirements SAP PM experience (work orders, maintenance workflows, history analysis) Experience implementing 5S systems in maintenance environments Project experience in equipment installation and commissioning Basic knowledge of predictive maintenance (vibration analysis, thermography) Familiarity with TPM and Root Cause Analysis tools (5 Whys, Fishbone) #LI-OA1 H.B.
