Position Purpose Determine the current and future needs of raw materials and components required to meet the master production schedule. Provide timely inputs required by the business units. Job Description Principle Duties and Responsibilities Responsible to ensure material availability based on production and demand forecasts and able to determine and adjust parameters in MRP. Handles part and engineering changes, avoiding obsolescence and material gaps, as per ECR, MCR or similar. Anticipates customer’s needs. Able to handle Min Max and discrete purchase as well as VMI accounts. Solve in major situations related to procurement, material control and planning. Sets controls and limits in metrics to ensure and avoid going out of control. Analyze and control the materials according to their inventory classification. Evaluates material forecast vs actual deliveries. Takes leader's role when necessary. Perform other duties as assigned. Other Requirements Advanced English level. SAP proficient (desirable). CAS, Solumina, Windows Office (Excel Macros and Visual Basic is a plus). Management MRP Systems. Demand balance and MIN MAX systems experience. Proven communication, teamwork and negotiation skills. APICS (Management and inventory control, Supply chain, etc.). Project management, coordination experience (Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing is a plus).
