Job Title: Production Manager Position Summary: The Production Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling all activities within the production area to ensure product manufacturing schedules, quality standards, and KPI targets are met. Primary Responsibilities Plan, schedule, and monitor daily production activities and maintain capacity to meet delivery targets. Lead and motivate a cross‑functional production team, providing coaching, training, and performance reviews. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements (ISO, FDA/QSR, IATF). Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, 5S, SMED, VSM) to increase efficiency and reduce waste. Analyze production data and KPIs (first‑pass yield, OEE, scrap) to identify improvement opportunities and act on results. Prepare and manage departmental budgets, cost estimates, and capital appropriation requests. Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, quality, and customer teams on new product introductions and production changes. Maintain accurate documentation of work instructions, SOPs, training records, and audit reports. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Engineering, or equivalent. Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in manufacturing production management. Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, SPC, and statistical design. Experience with ERP/MRP systems and production planning software. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Fluency in English and Spanish (professional level). Experience in regulated environments (medical devices, ISO 13485, FDA/QSR) is preferred. Benefits & Compensation Competitive daily salary range: $2,XXX – $2,XXX (placeholder).
