Process Control, Instrumentation, and Automation (PCIS) Coordinator The Process Control, Instrumentation, and Automation (PCIS) Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and optimization of plant control and automation systems. This position partners closely with Engineering, Maintenance, and cross‑functional teams to support operational excellence across the site. Based at our Linares Plant , this role is part of the Engineering organization and reports to the Maintenance Manager. You will work alongside a highly technical and collaborative team focused on continuous improvement, digitalization, and modern manufacturing practices. A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing Process Control and Instrumentation Oversight – Manage, supervise, and support instrumentation, control, and automation activities across engineering, construction, installation, pre‑commissioning, and commissioning phases, ensuring compliance with approved designs, corporate standards, and regulatory requirements. Automation and Process Optimization – Monitor system performance, implement adjustments, and propose technical improvements that increase efficiency, enhance automation, and reduce reliance on manual operations. Project and Change Management – Review scopes of work with Engineering and Maintenance teams, support change management documentation, and oversee timelines, costs, and quality for instrumentation and automation projects. Digitalization and Smart Manufacturing – Develop and support short‑ and mid‑term strategies for site data digitalization, leveraging advanced manufacturing technologies and automation solutions. Technical Leadership and Compliance – Provide technical guidance, review contractor progress, support construction punch lists, and ensure timely closure while maintaining safety and quality standards.
