Position Summary Position is responsible for cash application, claims, analyzing activity on accounts, noticing trends, taking action to get to root of issue. Essential Functions Cash application and claims management Understand AR processes at a deeper level: recommending write-offs of claims according to established guidelines Drive monthly collection efforts to achieve customer and team total targets Understanding specific customer traits to be able to support customer changes/issues Responsible for cash forecasting on a monthly basis, including an understanding of variances to forecasts Knowledge Working knowledge of accounts receivable Working knowledge of ERP systems preferred Knowledge of financial methodologies Ability to understand accruals and journal entries Skills Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel Able to communicate and correspond to all levels of management Intermediate analytical and problem‑solving skills Shows commitment to process improvement Experience 0-2 years of AR accounting experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment ERP experience preferred (SAP preferred) Education Bachelor’s degree Accounting, Finance or Business‑related field required Position Requirements The demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
