Job Description In this role, you will impact product reliability and customer satisfaction by identifying quality issues early, supporting root cause investigations, and implementing corrective actions that improve manufacturing and engineering processes. Responsibilities Perform detailed quality inspections and testing of products and components to ensure compliance with specifications and standards. Support root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for quality issues identified during production or testing. Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to drive continuous improvement in quality processes and product reliability. Perform and lead incoming, in-process, and final inspections of components and assemblies. Review engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements. Utilize precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, CMM, optical comparator). Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Supplier Quality teams. Drive continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives. Support production team in day-to-day activities. Validate when defective material is reported by the production team. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics. Minimum 1 year of experience in quality engineering or quality technician roles. Strong knowledge of quality control principles, inspection techniques, and quality assurance methodologies. Proficiency with quality tools such as statistical process control (SPC), root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA). Experience with quality management systems (QMS) and relevant industry standards. Experience with ERP/MES systems (SAP, Oracle). Advanced degree in Engineering or Quality Management. Experience in manufacturing or aerospace quality environments. Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean methodologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
