Job Title LM051: Retail Service Agent (Full time) Location: Av. López Mateos Norte No. 339 Ladrón Guevara 44600 Guadalajara Mexico Responsibilities Involves the completion of administrative tasks and coordination relating to the front-line operation which may include data entry, ramp activities, sort activities, trace activities, dispatch activities and local customer service. While operational tasks may be part of these roles, the majority of time is spent on office-based activities. Advise and offer our products and services to customers to achieve the Organization's sales objectives, as well as the development of frequent customers and credit. Perform a variety of over-the-counter customer service, administrative and clerical duties requiring direct and indirect customer interface. Assist customers by tracing packages, answering questions regarding FEC products and services and providing over-the-counter service and over the phone service. Check packages to ensure proper labeling, legality of content including weight and size, proper wrapping, insurance values, special requirements for hazardous material shipment and compliance with customs documentation required at destination. Collaborate with fulfilment of the budget, income/expenses and support in optimizing profitability of the branches through resource optimization. Open and close the branch, keep the work area clean, check furniture and work supplies. Recognize new customers or additional business opportunities, offer suitable services, open new accounts, obtain additional shipments and submit sales leads. Ensure an excellent customer experience by developing and providing adequate solutions to different types of customer problems. Follow commercial and administrative processes, communicating with the areas involved. Safeguard the values of the company and avoid deviations, missing, and mishandling in the WSC. Request necessary supplies to carry out daily documentation and packaging of shipments. Minimum Requirements High School degree/Equivalent. Proficiency in English. Two (2) years of experience in customer service with a focus on sales. Knowledge in the management of cash and other values. Previous experience in a FedEx SCS Warehouse with a good knowledge of the operation and the requirements of its key customers. Required Skills Ability to lift 75 lbs/34 kg and to maneuver packages weighing up to 150 lbs/68 kg with appropriate equipment. Accuracy & attention to detail. Planning & organizing skills. Good interpretation skills with experience translating customer specific instructions into actual requirements.
