Senior Associate, Equity Investing Research – Mexico City MSCI, Inc. seeks a Senior Associate, Equity Investing Research in Mexico City to perform financial research and provide investment insights to institutional clients on topics related to asset allocation, portfolio construction, and risk management. The role involves utilizing financial research tools such as the MSCI Data Science Platform, equity indexes, and risk models to conduct analysis, build research narratives, and support senior research members. Key Responsibilities Use the MSCI Data Science Platform and other analytical tools to conduct financial equity analysis. Contribute to publishing research content and build research narratives that provide actionable insights to institutional clients. Deliver research on topics ranging from asset allocation, portfolio construction, benchmarking, factors, ESG & Climate, and thematic investing. Contribute to client engagement by providing investment insights. Support senior research members in the Equity Investing research team. Required Skills and Experience Bachelor’s or graduate degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Quantitative Finance, Financial Engineering, or other highly quantitative subject. CFA is a plus. 4 to 6+ years of experience in quantitative investment research or as a data scientist/data engineer. Strong quantitative and technical background. Excellent English communication skills. Excellent programming skills, experience in the Python ecosystem. Experience in library development and API design is a plus. Basic understanding of the institutional investment process, portfolio construction, risk management, portfolio exposure analysis, etc. is a must. Good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
