About the role We are looking for a senior‑level Planning Manager with strong expertise in supply chain planning and a clear strategic mindset. This role leads the planning function across a complex operation, driving long‑term planning strategies, world‑class delivery performance, and inventory optimization while supporting business growth and customer satisfaction. This position requires a balance between strategic thinking, people leadership and operational execution, focusing on continuous improvement, capability building and data‑driven decision making. Key Responsibilities Lead and evolve the Planning function to deliver best‑in‑class service levels with optimized inventory and cost efficiency. Partner with senior operational and commercial leaders to align planning strategies with business objectives. Define and execute short‑ and long‑term planning strategies covering demand, supply, capacity and inventory planning. Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, service level, planning accuracy and resilience. Act as a strategic advisor to stakeholders, translating business needs into scalable planning solutions. Design, size and structure the planning organization to support current operations and future growth. Develop planning talent through coaching, performance management, capability assessments and training plans. Establish clear KPIs, governance and review mechanisms to track planning performance and improvement impact. Lead cross‑functional collaboration across Supply Chain, Operations, Procurement, Finance and Commercial teams. Champion change management initiatives and ensure successful adoption of new processes, tools or operating models. Qualifications & Experience Extensive experience in Supply Chain Planning with a strong focus on demand, supply and inventory planning. Proven track record leading planning teams in complex, high‑volume or multi‑site environments. Strong strategic mindset with the ability to connect planning decisions to business and customer outcomes. Experience managing multiple initiatives simultaneously while influencing senior stakeholders. Solid understanding of planning systems and digital tools (ERP / advanced planning systems). Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights. Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at all organizational levels. Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred. Certifications such as APICS, PMP, Lean Six Sigma or similar are a plus.
