How You’ll Help us Connect the World General Summary: The Planning Coordinator is responsible to manage the Planning and Purchasing department activities, to procure and administrate resources and also to identify opportunity areas in order to develop initiatives to improve Customer Service. The system used to support these activities is SAP. Duties & Responsibilities Review the demand and installed capacity to ensure orders are covered on time. Along with the Production Coordinator review the workload and available lines to create an efficient production plan. Establish priorities. Analyze and make reports on production results and critical indicators. Develop production plans and programs. Work to keep and/or increase the Planning and Purchasing metrics results. Check monthly results report. Coordinate and attend meetings. Train staff in the planning area. This position will have responsibility of planners in the department. Required Qualifications for Consideration Bachelor’s degree in related area. 3-5 years’ experience in Planning area within a manufacturing environment. 2 years’ experience in supervisor/management areas. Proficient in English language (written and spoken). Experience with SAP, Microsoft Office. 21.
