Purpose of the Role The Credit & Collections Analyst is responsible for is reviewing the credit worthiness of our existing customers and to perform a credit risk review in a professional and systematic manner Key Responsibilities: DNBi (Dun & Bradstreet) credit reports, monitoring services and the credit scoring models Blue Book credit reports and attendant data RetailStat report USDA (PACA) licensing and complaint (formal & informal) data Discussion with the assigned collector to ascertain any pertinent relationship issues Education & Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent. 5 years of Commercial Collections experience. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (i.e. Word, Excel, and Outlook). Excellent communication skills (i.e. oral and written). Ability to exercise sound judgment, analytical and independent thinking. Experience in Oracle and SAP. Skills: English Skills written and speaking Strong understanding of accounting principles related to accounts payable. Advance proficiency in Microsoft tools (e.g. Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) Excellent problem solving and analytical skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Effective communication and interpersonal skills Previous experience in a Shared Service Environment.
