What You Will Do Maintain oversight of the testing laboratory document control system (quality management system) to ensure sustained compliance and scalability. Ensure laboratories operate impartially, competently, consistently, and in alignment with ISO/IEC 17025:2017, including non‑accredited locations. Ensure the accuracy, reliability, and compliance of testing procedures and results. Maintain and oversee the corrective action process, including root cause analysis, effectiveness verification, and trend monitoring. Provide subject matter guidance on corrective actions to prevent recurrence and strengthen systemic performance. Review impartiality and conflict‑of‑interest risk assessments and ensure appropriate mitigation actions are implemented. Approve post-project partner feedback survey revisions to support continuous improvement. Participate in partner complaint resolution processes, ensuring issues are addressed with data‑driven, sustainable solutions. Track requirements and maintain laboratory accreditations and certifications through continued coordination with accreditation and certification bodies. Support management review activities, including oversight of inter‑laboratory comparison (ILC) and proficiency testing (PT) participation and effectiveness. Schedule, perform, review, and manage internal audits at defined frequencies, providing laboratory management with risk‑based insights and ensuring timely action. Prepare and review critical‑to‑quality (CTQ) performance metrics to measure progress in process unification, training effectiveness, audit readiness, and partner satisfaction. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) Bachelor’s degree in an engineering‑related field. Established experience in quality assurance or quality control within a testing or laboratory environment. Working knowledge of quality management systems and standards applicable to testing laboratories, including ISO 9001:2015, IATF 16949:2016, and ISO/IEC 17025:2017. Product development or reliability testing experience. Knowledge of internal auditing methods and sustained audit readiness practices. Understanding of continuous improvement concepts and quality tools, including Six Sigma, Lean, DMAIC, PDCA, MSA, 8D problem solving, and SPC. Ability to work independently while influencing across laboratories and functions. Strong analytical, reasoning, and communication skills. Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
