Responsibilities The Director of Food & Beverage will be responsible for the continuous and efficient management of the hotel's Food and Beverage operations, while also providing experiences and brand standards of The Standard. They will meet and exceed individual expectations of our guests and create an environment that delivers exceptional experiences for our team members. They will act as the Business Manager for all Food and Beverage Outlets, as well as Banquets. They will ensure that all departments operate successfully according to hotel standards and are individually profitable and successful. Responsible for talent selection, training, staff development, and scheduling. Qualifications University degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, Gastronomy, or related fields. Courses or certifications in restaurant management, food safety, and customer service. Previous experience of at least 3 to 5 years in managerial/director positions within the restaurant and/or hotel sector. Knowledge in staff management, cost control, inventory, and daily operations. Experience in hotel or restaurant pre-openings is highly valued. Proficiency in restaurant management systems (reservations, sales, inventory, catering). Expertise in financial analysis tools and budget control. Leadership and the ability to motivate teams. Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills. Customer-oriented with a focus on service quality. Ability to work under pressure and make strategic decisions. Bilingual in Spanish and English. #J-18808-Ljbffr
