Job Summary Aptiv is expanding its footprint in Monterrey within Advanced Safety and User Experience Engineering. The Software Supplier Manager role is an essential member of the software development team focusing on Advanced Driver‑Assistance Systems (ADAS), User Experience (UX), Radar, and Compute and Security (C&S) products. Your Role Own and lead the Supplier management (implement ACQ.4) for the assigned products. Evaluate vendor capabilities, technologies, and service offerings. Create and manage RFQ (Request for Quote) processes. Identify, select, and manage suppliers to develop reliable and safe software. Maintain comprehensive contract (SOW) documentation, negotiating favorable terms, including scope, pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules. Support the Project team in coordinating the delivery of software from SOW teams, ensuring timely and efficient delivery while meeting Aptiv’s quality expectations. Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for suppliers, ensuring software quality, reliability, and performance metrics. Analyze data, identify inefficiencies, and implement strategies to improve SOW team performance. Address issues with SOW teams, such as delays or quality problems. Provide regular updates to leadership on supplier performance. Your Background Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline (computer science, software, computer or related field of study). 5+ years of experience as an embedded software developer or systems engineer. 2+ years of experience in software project management and/or software supplier management leading global teams. Strong communication skills. Additional Background Preferences Master’s degree in an engineering discipline (computer science, software, computer or related field of study). Familiarity with Automotive SPICE. Ability to cultivate strong relationships within Aptiv across all engineering and program management. Experience with Active Safety systems or Autonomous driving systems. Experience with SDLC tools such as JIRA, requirements management tools, and configuration management tools. Familiarity with AUTOSAR.
