About the Role: As the Managing Director, you will lead the daily operations, financial performance, and team development of your branch while championing the Sunset brand and culture. Transportation and Customs will be under your direction, with locations in Queretaro, Laredo, and Nuevo Laredo. This role is responsible for driving growth, operational excellence, and strong customer and carrier relationships. What Will You Do? Lead branch operations across Operations, Logistics Management, Brokerage, Carrier Sales, Expedite, and Customs Drive performance goals through KPIs, reporting, and operational improvements Develop and mentor leaders and team members to build a high-performing culture Oversee staffing, resource planning, and employee performance Serve as the main escalation point and player/coach for operational and customer issues Manage customer onboarding and deliver exceptional service Monitor market trends, carrier capacity, and competitor activity Partner with corporate and internal teams to support branch success What We’re Looking For? 7+ years of transportation, logistics, or supply chain leadership experience Strong understanding of 3PL operations and branch management Proven ability to lead teams, grow revenue, and improve performance Experience managing customer relationships and solving operational challenges Strong communication, leadership, and decision-making skills Comfortable using dashboards, reporting tools, and performance metrics Bachelor’s degree preferred What We Offer Competitive salary with annual bonus Benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision coverage 401K with a company match Paid vacation, floating holidays, and personal/sick time Award-winning company culture #J-18808-Ljbffr
