Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Paralegal role based in the Guadalajara, Mexico Metropolitan Area. The Paralegal will support attorneys by preparing, organizing, and formatting legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, correspondence, and filings. Daily responsibilities include conducting legal and factual research, reviewing and summarizing documents, and maintaining case files and databases. The role also involves communicating with clients, courts, and external parties to gather information, schedule meetings, and assist with case updates. The Paralegal will help manage deadlines, support case preparation for hearings or meetings, and perform general administrative tasks related to ongoing matters. Qualifications Solid foundation in Law, with the ability to understand legal concepts and procedures relevant to the firm’s practice areas. Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting, formatting, and organizing contracts, pleadings, and other legal materials. Strong skills in Document Review, with attention to detail in identifying inconsistencies, errors, and relevant information. Effective Communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with attorneys, clients, courts, and external stakeholders. Demonstrated Research abilities, including legal research using online databases and fact-finding to support case strategy. Relevant education such as a paralegal certificate, law degree in progress, or related legal studies. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines. Proficiency with standard office software and legal document management tools; experience with case management systems is a plus. Professionalism, discretion, and commitment to confidentiality and ethical standards in handling sensitive information. Fluency in Spanish required; English proficiency is highly beneficial for handling documents and communications.
