We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team, specializing in the design and development of stair and rail systems. This role requires strong mechanical design skills, proficiency in CAD software, and an understanding of safety standards and material selection. Responsibilities Design and Development : Create functional and aesthetically pleasing stair and rail systems that meet safety standards and client requirements. CAD Modelling : Use CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor, AutoCAD) to create detailed 3D models and engineering drawings. Material Selection : Choose appropriate materials for durability, appearance, and cost-effectiveness. Collaboration : Work closely with clients, project managers, and other engineers to ensure timely project completion. Ensure designs comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and accessibility standards. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field. Proven experience in mechanical design, ideally with stair and rail systems or similar structural components. Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar). Strong knowledge of materials and manufacturing methods. Familiarity with building codes and safety regulations. Strong communication and problem‑solving skills. Preferred Skills Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) or other simulation tools. Experience in product design for manufacturing. Experience in design using Inventor, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks. Experience in design for mechatronics or mechanical engineering (minimum 2 years). Fluent in English (80% or more). Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
