Sr Buyer Responsibilities Work independently to coordinate purchasing activities and manage purchase requisitions in a timely manner. Use MRP and/or manual requests to analyze demand and determine purchasing needs. Issue RFQs for price and availability, monitor supplier delivery, negotiate price, volume, and delivery dates. Process RMAs, expedite and reschedule orders to meet production requirements. Resolve AP/AR issues through analysis and investigation. Research alternative suppliers for obsolete or long‑lead‑time parts. Manage implementation of engineering changes, interpret procurement policies, lead process improvement projects, negotiate and approve PPV’s. Qualifications Minimum 6 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in automotive. Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) projects. Strong written and spoken English (80% proficiency). Advanced Excel skills (macros, pivots, etc.). Ability to work under pressure and manage time efficiently. Experience with Oracle, purchase orders, RMAs, and SOX audit procedures. #J-18808-Ljbffr
