Overview The Sales Manager – Additives will be responsible for promoting and selling a diverse range of paints and coatings additives such as EPOCURE, MAXXPOL, LUBRIZOL, and other specialty chemical products across the Mexico market. This role focuses on driving sales growth, developing new business opportunities, maintaining strong customer relationships, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless operations. Key Responsibilities 1. Sales & Promotion Promote and sell additives, paints, and coatings products including EPOCURE, MAXXPOL, LUBRIZOL, etc. Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets through strategic account management and market expansion. 2. New Business Development Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company’s market footprint. Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industry trends. 3. Customer Relationship Management Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing customers and prospective clients. Provide excellent after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and retention. 4. Reporting & Market Analysis Prepare and update the Weekly Sales Plan & Achievement report. Maintain accurate CRM updates on sales performance, customer visits, action points, pipeline status, and forecasts. 5. Financial Management Monitor and manage customer receivables to ensure timely payments. Coordinate with finance teams to address billing issues or delays. 6. Cross‑functional Collaboration Work closely with procurement, logistics, technical, and customer support teams to ensure smooth order processing, delivery, and customer experience. 7. Trade Shows & Events Represent the organization at industry exhibitions, trade fairs, conferences, and networking events. Support brand visibility and industry positioning. 8. Training & Development of Subordinates Ensure subordinate responsibilities are completed on time. Conduct weekly team meetings to review performance, plans, and challenges. Provide coaching and guidance to junior team members. Must Have Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Petrochemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related fields. Minimum 1 year of experience in sales (preferably in chemicals, coatings, or related technical industries). Strong sales and negotiation skills. Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities. Ability to analyze market trends and customer needs. Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office.
