Role Overview The Program Director is a leadership role responsible for spearheading program delivery strategy across a diverse portfolio of major client account engagements. Central to this role is cultivating and managing direct client relationships at the executive level, ensuring successful execution of projects across the account portfolio. The Director leads cross‑functional program teams, establishes delivery governance mechanisms, and drives strategies to meet program goals while balancing delivery and financial success to achieve profitability and growth targets. Responsibilities Client Expectation Management: Proactively communicate project status, potential risks, and changes to client stakeholders, ensuring alignment of expectations and fostering strong client relationships. Account Strategy & Growth: Develop and execute actionable client account plans to drive organic account growth and support regional growth targets. Collaborate closely with Business Development to support new business efforts. Client Advocacy & Partnership: Position the firm as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to senior clients, ensuring client priorities are effectively communicated to delivery teams. Successful Delivery: Oversee end‑to‑end delivery of programs and projects, ensuring they meet scope, budget, and timeline requirements while maintaining high‑quality standards. Team Morale & Productivity: Implement strategies to foster a positive, collaborative team environment, promoting high morale and optimizing productivity through effective resource allocation and support. Gross Margin: Manage program budgets and resources efficiently to ensure profitability and achieve gross margin targets. Monitoring and Controlling Progress: Develop and maintain schedules, milestones, and performance reports; track progress and address resource conflicts. Change Management: Conduct stakeholder impact analysis and develop change strategy to maximize engagement and adoption. Knowledge Management: Ensure documentation is current, complete, and shared according to PMO standards; propose improvements for governance, processes, tools, and templates. Requirements BSc or BEng degree with 10+ years of relevant experience in technical project or program management. MBA or seasoned experience in management‑consulting firms or agencies preferred. Experience with Agile and Lean methodologies. Demonstrated program or project management in digital transformation, business process optimization, and organizational change management. Strong technical acumen, especially within e‑commerce domains. Ability to travel to the client's office in Mexico City on a regular basis. Proven leadership experience managing a portfolio of accounts with direct accountability for customer satisfaction and financial goals. Success in collaborating with Business Development/Sales and Client/Account Management teams, including new‑business initiatives. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish. Experience working with e‑commerce engines such as Bigcommerce, Commercetools, VTEX, or Magento. Strong knowledge of program or project management tools/software and digital solutions. Experience managing and allocating resources across multiple streams of work. Experience scoping activities for new account opportunities and preparing high‑value proposals. Experience defining visual controls and dashboards using Google Sheet, Smart Sheet, Miro, or related digital collaboration tools. Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills to communicate and build relationships across all organizational levels. Sound technical aptitude and ability to grasp multiple disciplines and technologies with digital tools proficiency. Ability to thrive in a fluid environment and foster strong collaboration.
