ROLE OVERVIEW Carbon Real Estate Investments is hiring an Operations Systems Analyst to own and advance the technology stack that powers our property operations. This is not a traditional finance analyst role — we are looking for a tools-oriented operator who can build, troubleshoot, and monitor the systems our team depends on every day. The role sits at the intersection of systems, automation, AI tools, and financial reporting. You will be expected to work independently inside no-code platforms, diagnose broken automations, and resolve data pipeline issues — not just download reports and format spreadsheets. How Your Time Is Split 40% - Platform Maintenance & Configuration Own the health and reliability of our operational systems. 30% - AI & Automation Monitoring Keep automated workflows running and improve failure recovery. Support Asset Management with clean, executive-ready reporting. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Platform Maintenance & Configuration (~40%) You will own the stability, configuration, and continuous improvement of our core operational systems. Monitor data feeds and syncs across Yardi, Coda, dashboards, and reporting tools Troubleshoot broken syncs, mismatched fields, and dropped records Configure alert triggers and workflow automations within Coda and our task management stack Perform UI improvements and workflow optimizations inside Coda Support Player Scoreboard data accuracy and integrity Maintain clear documentation of system configurations and workflow logic Proactively identify gaps and inefficiencies in data flow before they become issues AI & Automation Monitoring (~30%) You will keep our automation layer healthy — diagnosing failures, improving reliability, and knowing when to escalate vs. fix. Monitor Elise AI interaction logs and identify recurring failure patterns Investigate and resolve failed automations in Make.com or similar tools Maintain and improve automated task generation workflows Diagnose errors such as field mismatches, format conflicts, or filtering logic failures Distinguish between system-level issues that need escalation and process issues you can fix directly Recommend systemic improvements based on failure trend analysis You will provide structured financial support to Asset Management — keeping reporting clean, accurate, and decision-ready. Note: reporting is one-third of this role, not the entirety. Support delinquency tracking workflows and reporting Assist with budget tracking and variance analysis Generate recurring financial and operational performance reports Clean and transform raw Yardi exports into clear, executive-ready summaries Conduct routine audits to ensure system entries align with SOPs Support accounts payable reconciliation and invoice tracking QUALIFICATIONS Required Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or a related field Strong Excel skills — pivot tables, lookups, and structured data manipulation Hands-on experience with no-code platforms such as Coda or Airtable Demonstrated ability to modify and troubleshoot automation workflows in Make.com, Zapier, or similar tools Ability to independently diagnose and resolve data pipeline issues without hand-holding Strong problem-solving instincts and comfort navigating multiple systems simultaneously High ownership mindset — you close the loop on recurring workflows and follow through Preferred Experience with Yardi or a comparable property management ERP Basic scripting ability in SQL, Python, or similar Familiarity with Power BI, Bricks, or other BI/visualization tools Experience monitoring AI or chatbot platforms such as Elise AI Background in multifamily property management or real estate operations #J-18808-Ljbffr
