Job Description The Operational Buyer is responsible for performing all purchasing activities within certain material/service fields with the objective of optimal supply and generating a maximum profit contribution in compliance with the company's policies and purchasing guidelines. This position is reporting to the Operational Purchasing Team Lead of Region/Subregion. The role is carrying out all purchasing activities with a medium degree of difficulty and complexity, in the area of goods/services for which the job holder is responsible for. Responsibilities Strong business acumen. Stakeholder partnership knowledge. Additional language (German or Portuguese) is a strong plus. German or Portuguese language would be a plus. Commercial contracting experience is highly appreciated. Project and time management experience is a strong plus. Intercultural management experience is a plus. Knowledge of IT tools (SAP, Office package), methods, and analytics is a strong plus. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Business, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Finance, Economics, or related field. Advanced level of English (interviews will be conducted in English). At least 3 years of experience in SCM, Spare Parts, or Purchasing. Previous experience in Purchasing processes / Purchase to Pay.
