The Impact You'll Make As our new Project Engineer, you will be the driving force behind our product innovation, leading new products from concept to full‑scale production. You will act as the central link between our customers and internal teams, ensuring every project launches flawlessly and on schedule. Your leadership will directly influence our operational success and profitability, managing critical project milestones and fostering a culture of excellence to deliver on our promises. What You’ll Be Doing Manage multiple new product development projects from the initial customer notification through the start of mass production. Serve as the main point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders, communicating project status, mitigating risks, and developing recovery plans to keep everything on track. Lead the entire project lifecycle for new parts, including conducting feasibility analyses, managing quotes, validating technical drawings, and ensuring on‑time delivery of prototypes. Ensure projects meet their financial targets by managing budgets, evaluating manufacturing costs, and identifying opportunities for cost savings. Champion a culture of project management excellence, mentoring teams and deploying best practices to enhance our organizational capabilities. What We’re Looking For A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience (defined as 5+ years in an automotive manufacturing environment). Project management experience, with a strong understanding of quality methodologies (APQP, IATF 16949, Core Tools). A PMI/PMP certification is highly desirable. Proficiency in project management software like MS Project and a solid understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles. Technical aptitude, including the ability to interpret mechanical drawings and understand component and product functions. Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills, with conversational proficiency in English.
