Softensity is looking for a Founding AI Services Practice Lead to build, launch, and scale our AI services practice from the ground up. This is a high-impact leadership role at the intersection of consulting, client delivery, and business development. The selected candidate will play a critical role in translating AI strategy into a structured, scalable, and revenue-generating offering. This is not a purely technical role nor a purely commercial one — it requires a balance of hands‑on AI expertise, client advisory, and practice‑building experience. About the Role This role involves key responsibilities in practice development, client delivery, sales support, and team & capability building. Responsibilities Practice Development Define and refine Softensity’s AI service offerings (e.g., AI readiness assessments, use case identification, POC delivery) Develop frameworks, methodologies, and internal standards for AI delivery Build reusable assets and delivery playbooks Collaborate with marketing on thought leadership and service materials Client Delivery Lead client workshops, assessments, and AI advisory engagements Scope and oversee proof-of-concept (POC) implementations Act as senior technical advisor on active projects Partner with sales teams on discovery calls and client presentations Translate client needs into structured proposals and scoped engagements Contribute to development of ROI models and sales collateral Team & Capability Building Assess internal talent and define competency frameworks Support the development of an AI-certified practitioner bench Contribute to training, enablement, and internal capability building Qualifications Required Experience 5–10 years of experience in AI/ML consulting, software delivery, or technology advisory Experience working with multiple clients across different environments Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills Technical Knowledge Familiarity with modern AI ecosystems (LLMs, fine-tuning, retrieval-augmented generation, agentic AI) Experience with cloud AI platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP Required Skills Strong communication skills, including the ability to present to executive audiences Ability to scope engagements, define success criteria, and manage delivery risks Comfort operating in fast-paced, evolving environments Strong written communication (proposals, frameworks, thought leadership) Preferred Skills Experience building or scaling a consulting practice or center of excellence Exposure to AI governance or enterprise AI adoption frameworks Background in consulting firms, system integrators, or technology services organizations Experience working with or building distributed teams #J-18808-Ljbffr
