We are seeking a HiL Engineer with strong hands‑on experience developing, modifying, and maintaining Simulink plant models and working directly with dSPACE Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) systems. This role requires someone who has created models, designed wiring/harness interfaces, integrated hardware, and built ControlDesk GUIs , not someone who has only executed existing HiL tests. The engineer will support system‑level integration testing, simulation development, HiL bench design, and troubleshooting of complex electrical and network behaviors. Responsibilities Create, update, and maintain Simulink plant models for sensor simulation (voltage, PWM, etc.) Design, build, and debug dSPACE PHS/MRET/MRET Scalexio HiL benches , including hardware integration and signal simulation Develop wiring/harness interfaces needed for HiL testing Build and configure ControlDesk GUIs to execute system tests Perform system‑level integration testing and troubleshoot software, hardware, and datalink interactions Use Vector tools (CANoe, CANalyzer) to monitor, analyze, and diagnose communication traffic Work closely with cross‑functional teams to write detailed test plans and test cases Identify root causes of complex electrical and network issues Work independently with minimal supervision and ramp up quickly Must‑Have Qualifications Strong hands‑on experience with dSPACE HiL systems : PHS, MRET, MRET Scalexio Ability to build or modify Simulink models for HiL simulation Solid understanding of J1939 datalink protocols Experience with Vector tools such as CANoe or CANalyzer Strong knowledge of programming/automation languages: Python, C, or C++ Systems‑level thinking and ability to understand component interactions Experience diagnosing complex electrical/network issues Strong communication and collaboration skills Self‑starter with ability to work independently Nice‑to‑Have Skills Software-in-the-Loop (SiL) experience (GoogleTest or PyTest) CI/CD/CT knowledge and process understanding Experience with GitHub Copilot or similar AI tools #J-18808-Ljbffr
