Job Description Develops and manages new and existing programs by recommending, monitoring or adjusting appropriate plant operating procedures to meet program requirements within the manufacturing facility. Responsibilities Coordinates program vendor activities including design, tooling, and parts suppliers to ensure cost, delivery, and quality targets are met according to customer requirements and schedules. Prepares quotations for piece cost and tooling. Provides technical launch support at customer assembly locations. Controls program budget: plan vs. actual. Ensures closure of actions in Lear Pro (LPMP) assigned to the program in all project phases, including actions assigned to the Cross Functional Team. Ensures DCN closure on time aligned with SOP. Manages and coordinates the cross-functional team for the implementation of launches and engineering changes. Ensures that defined activities are completed according to the timeline. Provides support to the cross-functional team on issues related to launches and/or engineering changes. Coordinates meetings with the cross-functional team for program improvements through DFM. Leads engineering changes according to Engineering Change Control. Leads engineering launches according to NPI Control. Ensures compliance with standards/regulations such as IATF, VDA, ISO, customer-specific requirements, and those defined by the organization. Works with the Industrial Engineering team to align contractual capacity with installed capacity to meet demand, including peak production levels. Ensures availability of resources to meet project requirements regarding part deliveries at each project stage. Acts as the link for customer needs through the PM, communicating specific requirements to the cross-functional team. Coordinates and plans sample deliveries prior to each production stage with the support of the cross-functional team. Is responsible for updating the plant review and closing deliverables subject to LearPro (LPMP).
