About the Position: We are looking for a NAFTA Region Purchasing Manager to join the Green Technologies Division Purschading team, reporting directly to the Global GT Purchasing Director. This position can be based at our offices in Aguascalientes (Mexico). As the NAFTA Region Purchasing Manager at Marelli, you will play a strategic role in managing and optimizing purchasing operations across the Region. You will be responsible for overseeing a team of purchasing professionals, leading the development and implementation of strategic purchasing plans, ensuring the cost‑effective acquisition of goods and services, and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers. Your Responsibilities will be: Represent GTS Purchasing in the Region in front of Region Leader and other Regional functions. Promote a strict compliance with ethical and legal applicable requirements. Ensure Direct and Indirect materials Key Performance Indicators monitoring with immediate correction and escalation for main deviation to avoid missing achievement of Goals. Provide support in case of escalation due to suppliers located in the region. Propose / promote local suppliers to Commodity to support localization targets. Identify and promote geographical based synergies between GTS plants. Verify proper implementation of Sourcing Process in the Region and join PMO Regional reviews in case of escalation. What Qualifications you will bring: Minimum Education: Master’s degree in engineering, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field. Excellent oral and written English skills. Additional language is a plus. Minimum Experience: 5 years in procurement or supply chain management, with a track record of progressive leadership responsibilities. Strong knowledge of procurement practices, supplier management, and contract negotiation. Experience in the automotive industry or a related sector is preferred. Other skills that we would welcome: Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to make data‑driven decisions. Proactive mindset with strong organizational and project management abilities. Proficiency in procurement tools, systems, and technologies. Certifications in procurement or supply chain management (such as Certified Professional in Supply Management – CPSM) are a plus.
