A Day in Your Life at MKS As an Intern at MKS, you will partner with internal customers (Program Manager, Engineering, Corporate, NPI team, etc.) to support the Procurement team according to business needs. In this role, you will report to the Procurement Supervisor. You Will Make an Impact By Obtaining materials, components, and equipment Gathering quotations, examining bids, and making awards Determining material requirements from engineering and production schedules and maintaining inventory at planned levels Planning, scheduling, and monitoring the movement of materials through the production cycle Evaluating vendor reliability and developing new supply sources when vendors/suppliers are inadequate Skills You Bring Good written and oral communication skills CPIM and/or APICS certification preferred Ability to exchange accurate information Attention to detail with close observation of documents and details (within a few feet of the observer) Professional office and/or manufacturing environment competence Proficiency with computers and office productivity tools Comfortable working in an average noise level environment MKS Inc. and its affiliates and subsidiaries (“MKS”) is an affirmative action and equal opportunity employer: diverse candidates are encouraged to apply.
